Kaplan University Online offers an Associates of Applied Science in Medical Assisting but, is a little more expensive than other programs offered. They do offer financial aid and a flexible schedule. Herzing University offers either a diploma or an Associate’s of Science in Medical Assisting. Penn Foster offers an online medical assistant training program that will earn you a diploma upon completion. They also offer tuition assistance and career services to graduates of their program.
Always before enrolling in any online medical assistant training program conduct your own research into the program you choose. Make sure that upon completing the program you will be eligible to take your certification exam with the American Association of Medical Assistants or your registry exam with the American Medical Technologist Association.
